Maintenance and Light Repair

Average salary: $48,000 per year

Length of training: 8-18 months

Test vehicle systems and parts, identify mechanical problems, perform basic maintenance, repair and replace parts, and interact with clients. Work on engines, transmissions, drive belts, brakes, electronic steering systems, diagnostic tools, power tools, and common hand tools.
