Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy

The Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy is located on the former site of Camp Breckinridge, a World War II and Korean War army training facility in northwest Kentucky. It became the Breckinridge Job Corps Center in 1965.

The name was changed to Earle C. Clements in 1980 to honor Morganfield native Earle C. Clements, a former Kentucky governor and U.S. senator. The academy serves more than 3,500 students each year. The center offers vocational training in more than 20 trades. It also recruits students from Job Corps centers nationwide for its advanced automotive technology training and truck driving programs.

The academy also offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Students can earn associate's degrees in several fields through the Henderson Community College.
